We've spent our entire lives looking for somebody to walk alongside us. Through thick and thin, through random trivia that comes with the day, and through tiny things we go through. However, in moments of self-realization and discovery, time appears to stop. When you're experiencing a significant transformation in your personality, goals, or the way you handle pain, the world appears to move at the same rate as you, while you seem to wait still in a moment of your own. More than those who can keep up with us, we seek people who know when to stand still.
When you drive down a highway at sixty kilometers per hour with all of your windows open and a conversation going on, the ride is all fun and games. When you understand that this is the person you want to allow in, it's when the red light comes on, the wind stops messing with your hair, the song on the radio becomes irrelevant, and you realize that it's just you and yourself in your thoughts. All that counts is that and only that.
